Roy describes Pompey's multiple sporting talents, arguing that the contribution of Indigenous Australians to Australian Rules Football lies not in the game being based on the traditional Indigenous game of marngrook, but in the skill and adaptability Indigenous Australians showed in learning a new kind of football.
