Welcome to Healthy Chats! This podcast is focused on — you guessed it — health and wellness, but from the perspective of HealthCorps, a national not-for-profit dedicated to teen wellness. In each episode, HealthCorps CEO Amy Braun will chat with innovators, leaders, and implementors all with teens in mind. Since 2003, HealthCorps has worked in high-need schools with a mission to end health inequity by providing health and wellness resources to students, faculty, and families. ABOUT THE HOST — HealthCorps CEO Amy Braun brings a passion for education, a background in marketing and a belief in wellness to the organization. An educator at heart, Amy began her career as a fifth-grade teacher in New York City, where she taught math and reading, and developed the grade-wide literacy curriculum that led to significant performance gains at her school. Amy is a graduate from the University of Chicago. She holds a Master’s of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management with a focus in marketing, and a Master’s in Education from Pace University in New York.
